Pastor Bill Cottrill
Hi, I’m Bill Cottrill, and have been the Associate Pastor of Children and Youth here at First Baptist since April 2007, and now am the Lead Pastor. I am married to my wife Lisa and have two beautiful twin daughters, Hailey and Hannah. We are originally from Niagara Falls, ON, and moved out to Port Alberni when God called us to serve and minister here.
It didn’t take us long to get use to the amazing scenery here on the Island, I tell my family and friends back home, that I have an amazing view of the ocean, if it wasn’t for the mountains blocking my view!
It is our goal here to train, develop, and equip our church to move forward passionately in their relationship with the Lord.
One of our many interests as a family are exploring the many different trails here in Port Alberni and on the Island, climbing Mt. Arrowsmith and searching for bears!
